From "The Good" to "The Bad and the Ugly" in my Fashion WTF Part 2.
And the winners are...
...Cindy Lauper. The two-time Grammy award winner looked like she was going to a Halloween party, rather than a red carpet event.
Next we have Nicky Minaj. She is a guarantee for fashion gone wrong at every event, but this Versace Red Riding Hood cape and the fake Pope on her arm were really one of my Nicky Minaj highlights.
Whoever styled Fergie this year should be sacked. Showing off too much skin in a too orange Jean Paul Gaultier dress, the singer really did not look flattering at all.
French-American pop singer Nadeea looked like the black swan in this ensemble.
Robyn's dress paired with these Timbaland platforms was a flashback to the 90's - not in a good way though.
Russian singer Sasha Gradiva wore a not-so-bad pink gown. But why the gun-accessories?!

Grammy's 2012 Fashion - The Good
Last night we have seen celebrities hitting the red carpet again at the 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Over all I would say one could call this year's Grammy's fashion "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". This post is "The Good", featuring my favorite dresses seen on the red carpet.
Let me start with Katy Perry and this absolutely amazing Elie Saab dress. I told you in one of my previous posts that I am hoping to see one of these dresses at the Oscar's, but I am very happy to see it even before that! The only downside to this outfit is Katy's hair...what's up with the smurf color?!
Another beautiful dress is this Tony Ward gown worn by E! reporter Kelly Osborne. But again...really? The hair?!
Fellow E! reporter and TV celebrity Giuliana Rancic looked "amazeballs" in this pretty LBD paired with Jimmy Choo.
Newly blond Rihanna showed off her amazing body in this custom Giorgio Armani and Jimmy Choo clutch. Was somebody trying to show Chris Brown what he's missing?
Kelly Rowland looked beautiful in this Alberta Ferretti dress.
Another one of my favorite designers, Zuhair Murad, was a quite popular choice at this year's Grammy's. Taylor Swift opted for this nude silk mermaid-gown and looked absolutely stunning.
Also ever-gorgeous actress Kate Beckinsale wore a Zuhair Murad.

Whitney Houston
What a tragic weekend this has been. I could not believe my eyes when I received the message that Whitney Houston passed away at only 48-years old. She was one of the most amazing singers of all times and I still love watching her movie "The Bodyguard".
Did you know that Whitney also was a very sought-after teenage model before she even signed her first record contract? In fact, she was one of the first African-American models who made it on the cover of "Seventeen" magazine, a truly incredible woman.
Despite all her drug abuse and negative press, Whitney was one of a kind and her voice will be deeply missed. I wish her daughter Bobbi Kristina all the strength she needs in these sad days.
Whitney, we will always love you, RIP.

Valentine's Day by Victoria's Secret
It's this time of the year again: Valentine's Day. And in true Victoria's Secret fashion, their "Gorgeous" collections stars in a new spot.
These girls are simply amazing and I always love watching them. Now I just wish there was a Victoria's Secret lingerie store in Dubai...

Teen Kardashians
After all the family drama in the last few weeks, with Kim's divorce and rumors that Khloe is not a Kardashian, it's about time for some positive publicity. I have to say I think Kendall and Kylie, the teenage daughters of Kris and Bruce Jenner, are just adorable. Kendall has already successfully started her model career and has now made it on the cover of Teen Vogue with her sister Kylie, who is just as pretty. Only the headline "Kardashians in Training" is slightly disturbing. Let's hope the two sisters stay as down to earth as they are, the world really doesn't need another generation of Kim Kardashians as far as I'm concerned...

Fairytale by Elie Saab
Living in the Middle East, Elie Saab is obviously quite a big name here. However, the Lebanese designer also became very popular among Hollywood's A-list with his beautiful evening gowns. At this year's Paris Fashion Week he once more proved his sense of making dresses that make women look like a princess from a fairytale. With pastel shades, sparkles and an incredible lightness, there's no doubt at least one of these dresses will make it on the red carpet at this year's Oscar's...
German Label Tigerhill
My last two posts were about fashion from my home country Germany and also this one features a German label: Tigerhill. I was approached by fellow blogger Carolina Ballesteros who is also the model of Tigerhill's latest collection. I loved the pictures on her website and the line itself, but see for yourself:
For the entire collection visit tigerhill.wordpress.fuga.eu.
If you want to see more about gorgeous Carolina, read her blog Nights in White Satin (www.carolinaballesteros.com) about her life in the modelling world.

Karl launched at Net-A-Porter
Finally the luxury online store Net-A-Porter exclusively launched Karl Lagerfeld's new collection Karl. The line is based on black and white items and looks ever as cool and sleek as one might expect from Karl and as he told Net-A-Porter magazine "A white shirt, jeans and a jacket are the three basic things that everybody needs".
Naturally the launch of Karl's line was quite a spectacle with five pop-up store windows debuting in Sydney, Berlin, Paris, London and New York City . The biggest event took place in Paris where models wearing the new collection and holding iPads and Lagerfeld balloons drew attention to the pop-up window.
If you want to get your hands on any of the pieces you better be quick, we can be sure this will be sold out fast!

Dior Autumn/Winter 2012
Yesterday Dior presented its new Autumn/Winter 2012 Haute Couture line at the Paris Fashion Week, visited by front row guests Bar Rafaeli and Cameron Diaz. The dresses remind me of the stylisher version of the Stepford wives, but I love it. So chic, so elegant, very 60s. Also loving the models classy make-up with a thick black eyeliner. Here I am showing you my favourite dresses from the show:

WTF Fashion Part I
OK, so I decided to start a new series...called "Fashion WTF". My tribute to all designers that make me think "WTF were you thinking?!".
So here we go, my highlight of the day: Bernhard Willhelm, the Austrian designer and his show in Paris. Please pay attention to the head bands... No further comment needed from my side I guess.

Pregnant Alessandra Ambrosio hits the Runway
These Victoria Secrets girls are just a bunch of wonder-women I start to believe... They walk the runway skinny as ever only weeks after having a baby and now Alessandra Ambrosio shows off her baby bump (if that's even the right word for it) five months pregnant for Brazilian label Colcc in Sao Paulo. Jealous? Hell ya!
The end of Hollywood's dream teams
Finally after almost a week without blogging (due to a little accident with my right hand in the kitchen) I am now back and unfortunately with shocking news... The divorce of Heidi Klum and hubby Seal is confirmed!
Rumors have been around for a few days now and I was surprised to see Heidi alone at the Golden Globes. Last night the former dream couple finally told US magazine "People" that they decided to go separate ways. I am really devastated about these news I must say. Not only because I love Heidi (as I previously admitted several times) but especially because Heidi and Seal seemed to have the perfect marriage and for 7 years they have been renewing their vows every single year. You never read about fights or drama...the 38-year old supermodel and the 48-year old singer were always so much in love. Who would forget the infamous duette "Wedding Day" at the 2007 Victoria's Secret fashion show?! Now I really lost faith in celebrity marriages! The reason behind the divorce is apparently the hectic schedule both of them have, with Heidi shooting the latest season of "Germany's next Topmodel" in Germany and Seal being the judge at Australia's "The Voice". Their lives drifted apart but they remain friends and "still love each other very much". I hope they will really remain friends, especially for the sake of their four kids...
Another couple that I did not expect to split up is Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.
After 14 years the French singer's and US actor's relationship is said to be on the brink of collapse. Johnny Depp made an appearance at the Golden Globes without his girlfriend and mother of two children whereas Vanessa stays with her family in France. During her recent promo event for her latest movie in Paris, she even said she didn't believe in marriage because "if you lose your soul mate everything is done for you".
I hope there won't be any more divorce or split announcements anytime soon!

Golden Globes 2012
Last night it was the start of the award's season 2012 with the 69th Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. There were some clear style trends to spot, from cream and nude colors to mermaid dresses. Here I am presenting you my favorite dresses and also my least favorites...
Angelina Jolie looks like a goddess in her one-shoulder Atelier Versace with Lorraine Schwartz earrings and ring.
Nicole Kidman in a Versace dress, Fred Leighton jewels, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and Roger Vivier clutch.
True Hollywood style came on the red carpet with Charlize Theron in her Dior Couture gown with an over-sized bow at the waist. Her jewellery is Cartier and I am especially loving the 1920s hair band.
Kate Beckinsale looked stunning as usual in a white strapless Roberto Cavalli gown.
Modern Family star had a little misfunction on the red carpet with her zipper "exploding". Still she looks fabulous and I am loving this vintage nude lace Dolce & Gabbana dress.
Sheilene Woodley was showing off her body in this amazing Marchesa dress with Tabitha Simmons shoes.
My favorite model Heidi Klum paired her cream backless Calvin Klein dress with matching shoes, and handbag, as well as a Lorraine Schwartz necklace.
Not everyone wore cream and nude colors, The Help's Emma Stone opted for a maroon and fuchsia pleated Lanvin gown with jeweled eagle belt buckle.

Colombian-born Modern Family star Sofia Vergara looked elegant in a night blue mermaid cut gown by Vera Wang which showed off her famous curves.
Salma Hayek looked like a modern Cleopatra in this bold Gucci gown.
Now let's have a look at my least favorite dresses:
Kelly Osborne is one of E!'s Fashion Police critics, but honestly, what was she thinking?! The hair color and this dress make her look like grandma gone Golden Globes.
Lea Michele from Glee wore this metallic Marchesa gown which simply had too much going on for her.
